Unlike Frank Wolf, Judy Feder actually TALKS to voters about Iraq. What a concept! :)
P.S. Judy Feder's press release on the "flip."
Dear Lowell-Last year I took on 26-year incumbent Congressman Frank Wolf to change the direction of our country.
Thanks to your help, we accomplished what almost no one thought possible. Though we didnGÇÖt win the election, we tapped a deep desire for change in a district with an entrenched incumbent, attracted thousands of supporters, garnered national attention, and made a stand for our shared values of which we can all be proud.
But we still need change in Washington. Frank Wolf continues to support the PresidentGÇÖs failed policies while our men and women in uniform suffer the consequences. The situation keeps getting worse with no end in sight.
You and I know that itGÇÖs time to end the war in Iraq, but Frank Wolf refuses to listen to the voices of his constituents. He has voted to block every effort to bring our troops home.
I believe that itGÇÖs critical for a Member of Congress to listen to their constituents. I wanted to hear what members of the community thought about the war, so I grabbed a camera and started asking people, "What do you think about the situation in Iraq?" You can take a look at what some of our neighbors think about Iraq here:
Our campaign is just getting started. We'll be back with more videos, an updated web site, and much more. In the meantime, share our video with your friends and send me an email at judy@judyfeder.com to let me know what changes you want to see in Washington.
Last year, we took the first steps toward bringing about a real change in Congress. Next year, it's time to finish what we started.
Sincerely,
Judy Feder

Just saying.
At this point it's not even clear that he can raise half a million, let alone what it will take to run against Wolf.
John Bruns, the former Marine who served in Iraq and then on the Webb campaign with so many of us was there, too, he came straight from his new job with the Coalition Against Escalating the War.
The road traffic was dense at the intersection; we received many honks of approval with thumbs up, and some one even gave us a dollar donation. I recall only one contrarian driver, with whom John had a conversation while the young man was at the stoplight. John asked him: "What do you think the troops need?" The response was "More troops on the ground."
In view of Mitt Romney's remarks (see diary above this one) blasting Obama on Fox News for suggesting we needed more troops in Afghanistan, wasn't that exchange interesting?
These signs made Wolf pop his cork last year. They'll be out again next year, too.
Who knows? Maybe an early showing will convince him it's time to just retire already.
