I just got the following press release from the Bruce Roemmelt for Delegate campaign.  Check out their excellent new website, specifically focused on traffic.  The tagline?  "If Bruce Roemmelt Was Your Delegate, You'd Be Home By Now!"  And just think, in a few more weeks Bruce CAN be your delegate.  All you have to do is vote out one of the worst, most extreme loony-tunes Delegates in Virginia -- Bob Marshall Must Go!

Roemmelt Unveils ReduceTraffic.org Website, Reasserting Himself as the
Transportation Candidate

(Haymarket, VA) Bruce Roemmelt, candidate for the House of Delegates in the 13th district, unveiled a new website today, www.ReduceTraffic.org. The website is designed to complement Roemmelt's direct mail program, which begins this week.

"I am very excited about our mail program and the new website," said Roemmelt. "The citizens need to know how little Delegate Marshall has done to reduce traffic."

ReduceTraffic.org will be updated regularly with graphics from Roemmelt's latest mail pieces and contains two short web videos in which Roemmelt lays out the case for his election on November 8. In addition, it contains a side-by-side comparison of the two candidates on issues related to traffic and transportation.

James Walkinshaw, Roemmelt's campaign manager, said, "ReduceTraffic.org will
show voters that there are some very clear differences between the two candidates. Delegate Marshall is the least effective Delegate in Richmond and he has spent 13 years ignoring our transportation crisis. Bruce is 100% focused on the problem and will direct all of his energies to solving it."

Roemmelt remains the only candidate in the race who has pledged to make reducing traffic his number one priority and who has an actual plan to do it.

Roemmelt's plan includes locking up the transportation trust fund, jump-starting stalled projects, building commuter parking lots, and expanding mass transit options in the 13th district.

"We're trying anything we can to raise awareness among the citizens and make it easy for them to get the information necessary to make an informed decision on November 8," said Walkinshaw. "Our original website, www.Bruce2005.org, is widely considered to be one of the best in the Commonwealth. But we're really breaking new ground by integrating our direct mail program with the new site, www.ReduceTraffic.org."

Bruce Roemmelt is a retired Prince William County fire fighter and Vietnam veteran committed to finding real solutions to our transportation problems.
