Below the fold I have posted the contents of an email I received from the Schultz campaign today.  For those of you in NoVa, you will note the opening of an office in Leesburg, as well as some canvassing opportunities.

The state party has raised this to a targeted race. Regardless of where in state you are, if you are close enough, consider giving some help.

I am not officially associated with the campaign, although I try to help when I can.

Please join us for the following events:

August 07, 2007  America's Night Out Against Crime 

Please join Karen & your local Winchester Law Enforcement in supporting National Night Out.  Team Schultz will be visiting the following locations from 6-7pm:  1) Highland Church - 446 Highland Ave and 2) the Downtown Walking Mall.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:  Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

August 09, 2007  Annual Rotary Family Picnic 

Karen will be attending the Annual Rotary Family Picnic from 6-7pm.  The picnic will be held at the Rotary Shelter at Jim Barnett Park in Winchester.

August 11, 2007  Loudoun Office Opening

Join Karen Schultz and her Team for our Loudoun Office Opening at 101 Wirt St. SW Leesburg, VA from 10-12pm.  Food and refreshments will be provided.  The fun continues immediately following the opening at which time we will be heading to the Hamilton Precinct to canvass the neighborhood.
