That if a particular spelling or even an entire word is used enough times it becomes and accepted entry in the English dictionary and thereby the proper spelling ???? In which case.... this isn't a mispelling any more.... ????

If it doesn't get it for the actual printing of the book, the links and newscasts about it should easily push it over the top....

my own spell checker corrected my use of "an" into "and"... I wouldn't have done that on purpose of course.... I might change history.....

With 72 Million copies sold, this spelling may now be more popular than Webster's.

The reply is that the book was written in the dark for privacy , thus the mistake "suceeded", also on another page is the word "Maman" which was suppose to be Mama.

So all you readers go look for that Typo, also.

I have to say that I think it's really cool how everyone seems to be keeping the secrets and letting fans read through the books on their own.  Very nice.

Well for what it's worth,strange in a surreal type of way, when we're posting what the correct word on page 5 but typing the wrong title, The Grey Havens should know, although hollows sounds more lingustic its Hallows. You'll note that ever since Huckleberry Finn, a lot of original regional dialect, that may not be the Queen's English, gets put into fiction, and Harry Potter is no exception. Therefore, its "Deathly Hallows."
