Right, I know this is not exactly a news flash, but the results of our informal poll on Tim Kaine are in, and they're very positive. It turns out that Raising Kaine readers overwhelmingly think that Tim Kaine is doing a great job as Governor. Most impressively, 37% said that Kaine was either "Mark Warner Part Deux" or "The new gold standard in Virginia governors." Combine that with the 41% who said "he's no Mark Warner, but he's not doing bad," and you're up to 78% of RK readers who think Tim Kaine's doing an excellent job. Another 19% don't think Kaine's the greatest as governor, but they either don't blame him and/or still think he's a "good guy."
That leaves the hard core Kaine haters at just 3% of the RK poll respondents. Not a bad result for Gov. Kaine, although I suppose it's not too surprising at a blog named Raising Kaine. On the other hand, imagine if it had not come out so well, I can just hear the right-wingers now! :)
