As our troops mediate Iraq's civil war, the Iraqi Parliament will be taking a break from the 130 degree August heat. When questioned, Whitehouse Mouthpiece ah puppet ah spokesman Tony Snow justified the vacation saying "You know, it's 130 degrees in Baghdad in August."
Snow was reminded that U.S. troops will be continuing to fight throughout August in the heat. "You know, that's a good point," Snow said. "And it's 130 degrees for the Iraqi military."
God forbid the Iraqi military be forced to defend its own country in that heat. So while our men and women fight and die outside in the 130 degree heat the Parliament is taking a break from the air conditioned chamber for a month. The Bush puppets aren?t even trying to hide their indifference to what our troops sacrifice, or the lack of progress by the Iraqi government. They just do not care.
