A 2008 "Picture" of the GOP on Civil Rights

Found this on the net.  From the article (with the picture):

The one photo the GOP does not want anyone to see was snapped at yesterday's NAACP GOP Presidential Candidate Forum.  The NAACP invited all 9 Republican candidates to the forum, but only one showed up: Tom Tancredo.  All the Democratic Presidential hopefuls showed up for their forum.

The article implores everyone to contact their local TV stations and newspapers to run this picture as THE depiction of just what the GOP thinks about the NAACP and civil rights for people of color.

Seems that Tancredo attended a fundraiser on 9/11/06 in South Carolina put on by an organization called League of the South, a neo-Confederate hate group.  The money raised was to go to a group called Americans Have Had Enough!, of which Tancredo is the honorary Chair. 

The Southern Poverty Law Center ran this article "Congressman Addresses Hate Group" about Tancredo's appearance at that fundraiser. 

It's not a long article and worth a read.
