Conservative blogger doesn't know much about blogging

Either that, or this guy just likes to attack progressive bloggers for the sake of attacking progressive bloggers. A post from "Publius" (is this the infamous "I. Publius" that used to troll here?) in an incredibly originally named blog (or maybe not) claims that Lowell lied when typing the words about Bob McDonnell's personally benefiting from Albo's driving tax in this post. Marc Fisher later backed off his comments that McDonnell was "connected" to his old law firm, which had led to this analysis by Lowell. Once Lowell learned about this situation from a progressive blogger, he altered his own diary to account for Fisher's new take. For example:
[Note: Fisher apparently has backed off his charges against Bob McDonnell.]
What Lowell was plainly doing was reporting on what Marc Fisher said. This conservative blogger shouldn't have gotten past the title of Lowell's blog post before noticing this fact:
Marc Fisher on the "Sneaky," "Dishonest" Albo-Rust Fees.
Of course, the conservative blogger did notice -- his basic argument is that, because Marc Fisher got it wrong at first, Lowell is a liar for blogging about Marc's words.
But, see, sometimes bloggers report on what people in the media write (e.g., "Marc Fisher on ..."). And, see, if a blogger said that so-and-so said something, and so-and-so did say that something, the blogger is being entirely accurate. Fisher told us that McDonnell was still connected to his old firm, and Lowell wrote a diary about Fisher's comments.
So, Lowell didn't lie. He simply described what Fisher said. And, once Fisher did the right thing and took a step back, Lowell reported that as well.
Our conservative friend needs a little Blogging 101, I guess.

Why use reason when hate is so much more fun?
These people are turning a legitimate movement started by Barry Goldwater into an historical laughingstock. They're comedians who don't even know that they're the butt of their own jokes.
Cpmgratulations to Lowell (Teddy - 6/28/2007 2:41:47 PM)
for the honor of being targeted by the wrong Right! Would they waste their artillery on you if you were a gnat? No, they must now fear you so they attack, attack, attack. You can judge your prominence and how far under their skin you have burrowed by the amount of hate they spew.
Woops (Teddy - 6/28/2007 2:42:46 PM)
That's Congratulations; spell check the body but not the heading. Bah.
Speaking of hatemongering (Lowell - 6/28/2007 3:02:53 PM)
See
John Edwards slam Ann Coulter.
They're calculated to create an emotional response, they're calculated to make people hate. And if you don't speak out against it, that means you're tolerating this kind of lanuage, and it means you think it's ok, it's not ok.
By the way, Edwards totally rocks (Lowell - 6/28/2007 3:05:18 PM)
in this interview. I'm very impressed!
