I Talked to Chap

I just got off the phone with Chap Petersen. As far as he's concerned, the story I published here yesterday about Jim Dillard handing out literature for Sen. Jeannemarie Devolites Davis (R) and Del. Dave Marsden (D), even if it's 100% accurate, is essentially a "non-issue." As far as Chap is concerned, Del. Marsden is very supportive of his campaign and will CONTINUE to be supportive of his campaign. In other words, all is well between Chap and Dave Marsden.
Personally, I'm VERY relieved to hear that, as (believe it or not) I hate Democratic infighting. Now, it's time to turn our full attention in that race to JMDD, and most importantly, to Chap's party tonight at P.J. Skidoos in Fairfax City with special guest Mark Warner. Par-tay! :)

That just sounds like Dillard is... (Todd Smyth - 6/27/2007 3:29:07 PM)
trying to pass himself off as a Democrat. Nothing more.
Who knows what's up with Dillard. (Lowell - 6/27/2007 3:33:38 PM)
And really, who cares? I mean, how much influence does that guy have anyway?
Democratic infighting (virginiavoter - 6/27/2007 3:34:17 PM)
Are you for real? You are the same person who says ABC - Anybody but Connolly. How can you say you hate Democratic infighting and still have that position?
No, I'm not for real. (Lowell - 6/27/2007 3:36:45 PM)
Man, you got me there - ouch!
(snark)
So, you oppose primaries I take it? (Lowell - 6/27/2007 3:57:05 PM)
You think everyone has to be in lockstep behind your preferred candidate, or else they're not good Democrats? Perhaps it's attitudes like yours that cause the infighting, ever think about that?!?
I think infighting is how we grow as a party (DanG - 6/27/2007 9:52:32 PM)
The question is, of course, how we fight. Debates, primaries, etc. The forms of infighting are productive. It's when two Dems start slinging mud at each other that everybody only ends up feeling dirty.
Anybody But Connolly Is A Righteous Position (Lee Diamond - 6/27/2007 11:57:29 PM)
All the blame goes to the devious Lord of Fairfax for the way he chooses to do his politics.
