And look at Ralph showing the way!
Del Toro continues to hold the Cash-on-Hand advantage over incumbent Cole, $97,600 to $83,600, which is just amazing for a challenger to still have more in the bank than the incumbent. Of course, Cole seems to leave a lot of people with the impression that he takes elections for granted, and tends to take being a Delegate for granted.
Also of note, Cole's already started receiving help from the GOP campaign committees, getting $10,000 from Howell/Griffith this period alone, in addition to a smattering of smaller donations from other members. About the only people willing to support Cole seem to be other Republicans members (tells you something about who he represents and listens to).
The GOP seems to know that Cole is in trouble and badly in need of bailing out, and it's only June. Help from people throughout Virginia, including the big way RK readers stepped up, is what is allowing Carlos to lead the money race while still knocking on thousands of doors.

June 5, 2007 info@troyfarlow.comAs three Republican candidates vie for the Republican nomination in the 96th House of Delegates district, Troy Farlow continues his groundswell of grassroots support and momentum in this open-seat contest. Farlow shows an impressive $50,255 in the bank, while Farlow?s closest opponent only has just over $12,000 cash-on-hand.
The sheer numbers in this contest are stark: in this reporting period alone, Farlow had more than 100 contributors, yet ALL REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES COMBINED HAD ONLY 33 CONTRIBUTORS. Since the beginning of the year, Farlow has well over 300 contributors, which dwarfs all other candidates in this race.
Farlow released the following statement about the report:
?I am continually impressed and humbled by the support of so many citizens of our community. Our campaign is rooted in the issues: meeting our transportation needs, ensuring that we have quality, affordable health care, and that we reform Richmond so we get our fair share. I think that this fundraising report reflects that our community wants a fresh face in Richmond who can get things done.
For too long, our community has been riddled with the destructive politics of ideology over solution, and party over progress. I am pledging to work each and every day to improve the lives of Virginians, whether they be Republicans, Democrats or Independents. I will help move Virginia in the right direction, towards solutions and consensus, not blind partisanship and wedge issues.?
With this report, Farlow has demonstrated that he is the frontrunner in the 96th District.

(As it stands right this minute, the SBE has reported his information under that of Joe Bouchard, who is running in the 83rd. I noticed the discrepancy this morning.)
