What's Our Old Friend Greg Been Up To?

Many of you probably aren't aware, but Greg Priddy was one of the people most instrumental in drafting James Webb. Among other things, Greg actually filed the paperwork making Jim Webb an official candidate for U.S. Senate. In addition, Greg played a huge role in calling Harris Miller's candidacy into question, as well as George Allen's.
Now, Greg has moved on from politics and is a leading international energy markets expert with the Eurasia Group, a very prestigious company. This past Friday, Greg was on the PBS NewsHour in the segment, "Iraqi Lawmakers Struggle with Oil Revenue-sharing Plan." If you're interested in what Greg had to say, here's a transcript.
By the way, I'm particularly proud of Greg because I played a big role in hiring him as a contractor at the US Energy Information Administration, and was his technical monitor (bureaucratize for "boss") for about 5 years. Maybe he learned a few things from me, but obviously he's gone way beyond me now, and I'm very proud of him. Great work, Greg...rock on! :)

Thanks, Lowell (Greg - 5/21/2007 8:47:16 PM)
You're laying it on a bit thick in regards to my role, but I am proud that I was able to play a small part in getting the ball rolling for Jim Webb's candidacy.
Don't downplay your role. (Lowell - 5/21/2007 9:19:02 PM)
I meant every word I said. Thanks, Greg, and keep up the great work!
Greg was Great (Tony Mastalski - 5/21/2007 9:51:29 PM)
Saw Greg on Jim Lehrer and it was GREAT. Only once before have I've seen someone I actually rub shoulders with (as an authority no less) on the show giving real / relevant insights ... Way to go Greg!!!
And as far as Draft James Webb goes .... certainly Greg was one of the very FIRST REBELS!! One of the front men. Looks like it's been a great year for a great guy.
Three Cheers!!!
