Get out of here, put some lawyers to work and go pop some more pills so narcotics can bust ya.
Talk about a "big fat idiot."
Quote is from the Jamestown edition, new edition of TIME magazine
Within the next 30 days, I'll be counting the prominent Republicans and conservatives who are willing to stand up and publicly repudiate this specific commment.
I read some guest editorial the other day by the president of some gun nut group (not the NRA, something else) who said it was wrong of the Brady Campaign and pro-gun control groups to proselytize their "agenda" the week of the Tech tragedy. Of course the gun nut groups want any talk of sweeping gun control reforms swept under the rug until the emotional momentum from the tragedy subsides nationally. But we all saw Gingrich, Fred Thompson and conservative commentators talking about more concealed weapons and the like, and some other gun nut group president declared "gun control failed." Discussing gun control after Tech isn't "politicizing" the tragedy; public safety and tackling the nation's gun culture is more important than typical political topics like taxes and transportation. The time to mourn may continue but the time to act is now on real gun control measures!
