Ann Coulter Advertisers: There's a New Crop. Action Requested.

While pondering a new diary last night on the viability of targeting Rush Limbaugh's advertisers following his recent racist remarks, a fellow Kossack sent me an email with screen caps of four new major advertisers on anncoulter.com. I then took another look at the site and after a number of browser refreshes found five additional new advertisers, one of which (Edmunds.com) had previously responded last month that they were pulling their ads.

Remembering some of the comments a few weeks ago at Freeperville over our Coulter awareness campaign, a number of the knuckledraggers remarked that her advertisers would be back soon. Are we going to let that happen? Let's launch our own "surge" and let these advertisers know we are disappointed and troubled that they have chosen to support a known voice of hate speech.

Crossposted at MyDD, DKos, and Diatribune. For a list and contact info on the new advertisers at anncoulter.com, go to the flip:
Shown below is a list of the new advertisers with contact info links:

SCREEEN CAPS OF NEWLY APPEARING ADVERTISERS

Shown below are screen caps from 4 of the 9 new advertisers provided by a fellow Kossack. I was unable to capture the other five on my aging, balky PC, so if anyone can capture others and post them in the comments, it would be appreciated.

Allstate Insurance

Westin Hotels (Starwood Hotel Group)

Sunrocket VOIP

Kodak

CONTENT SUGGESTIONS IF YOU CHOOSE TO CONTACT NEW ADVERTISERS
1. Keep your communications polite and respectful, but voice your concern over the company's indirect and tacit support of hate speech by its advertising on anncoulter.com.

2. Be sure to note that you are a customer or shareholder in the company as appropriate.

3. Avoid the term "boycott" but suggest that you are less likely to conduct business with firms who support anncoulter.com.

4. Ask these companies why they advertise on the site in consideration of the fact that over 40 well-known advertisers bailed in early March.

5. Include links to previous news stories on the earlier Coulter advertising awareness campaign for reference. Two good links to use are the CNN story here and an excellent article in Media Post Publications here.

FOLLOW UP

If you receive responses from any of these companies indicating they are pulling out, please send me an email at VDLATL@gmail.com and a follow up diary will be posted listing the "good guys" who have bailed. Also, if you find other new advertisers on anncoulter.com, please email screen caps as appropriate or post them in the comments over at DKos.

We have shown the wingnutosphere the real power of massive group action in accomplishing a specific goal. Let's do it again!

You can cut and paste the same sentences saying how dismayed you are that they are sponsoring hate speech, and saying since their field is so competitive there are lots of other merchants to chose from who don't.

You might mention to Wal-Mart (PM - 5/1/2007 4:52:40 PM)
that they have been trying to repair their image with the liberal community and this will not help them.

Edmonds - victory No 1! (Andrea Chamblee - 5/1/2007 10:10:25 PM)
"We are grateful that you alerted us to this controversial Web site and we will request that our affiliate remove the Edmunds.com ad immediately."

Coulter does have bizarre scary man-hands.
