Some of the examples cited in the article include:
+In Aruba and the Czech Republic, Pat Robertson's legal organization, the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), helped defeat bills that would have legalized same-sex unions.
+ And on the European Union level, ECLJ is lobbying to block funding for embryonic stem-cell research.
The third page of the article lists the key organizations in the fight, their accomplishments, and their websites.
How successful they'll be, in light of the mass exodus from organized religion in Europe, remains to be seen.
[Note: 53% of Americans consider religion to be very important in their lives. This compares with 16% in Britain, 14% in France and 13% in Germany. http://www.religious... Church attendance in Scandinavia is at about 5% of the population, compared with about 40% in the U.S.]
