Russ-o-Phobia \Rus`so*pho"bi*a\, n.
1) Morbid dread of Russ Potts or of Russ Potts' influence.
2) Fear and hatred of traditional, fiscally conservative Republicans like Russ Potts. This fear and hatred is most often seen among the most extreme right wing or radical members of the Republican Party, such as Jerry Kilgore.
3) The panic and hyperbolic overreaction demonstrated by political campaigns, such as Virginia Republican Jerry Kilgore's, when confronted by a Russ Potts candidacy. Such overreaction sometimes includes using dictionary definitions of words like "strayed" in order to slime one's opponent.
