Here's what former Virginia Governor Jim "No Car Tax" Gilmore had to say yesterday at the International Association of Firefighters Forum:

At the end of the day, I am going to defeat these people that the media people have considered to be the leading candidates. I will win this nomination over McCain, Romney, Giuliani. I can assure you of that.

Yeah, right Jim, if you believe that, maybe you also believe that you're really the tooth fairy, that George W. Bush is a great President, or that you didn't almost drive Virginia into the fiscal ditch when you were governor.  What. Ever.
