He comes across as well-informed and on the right side of the issue for the right reasons. Does he have the foreign policy chops to sit in the White House? Judge for yourself.

while the more "experienced" candidates supported the IWR. And I don't buy the whole argument that it doesn't count because he didn't have to place the vote. He did take a risk coming out against it as a prospective Senate candidate. Durbin voted against it and he and Obama are practically mirror images in terms of their voting record.
Edwards never had to vote on NAFTA, but I believe he would have voted against it if he were in the Senate back then. He's been consistently anti-free trade just as Obama is consistently anti-Iraq War.

and not one to be swept up in the passions and fears that gripped so many on the left who were afraid of being tarnished with a No vote in 2002.
