Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH)! Progressive blogger Cliff Schecter decided to periodically give out an award to "those who in the face of GOP attacks, bravado, or the usual rhetorical bed-wetting, tell 'em where they can stick it." Schecter has decided to name this honor, The Jim Webb. The inaugural winner was Gov. Eliot Spitzer (D-NY) for his now (in)famous "steamroller" comment.

Yes, An Inconvenient Truth won Best Documentary Feature. No, he didn't announce he was running for President, but did joke about it earlier. And, no, Gore didn't win an Oscar because he was never nominated in the first place. But he did a wonderful job of getting his message out. Bravo Al.
