And we have one in General Wes Clark.
This next election in 2008 is going to be about a lot of things like Health Care, Education, Economic Fairness, and many other issues.
However, the biggest issue of our lifetime right now is Iraq.
Only one candidate right now has seen the eye of war, has been wounded by the enemy, has led a force in battle. That person is Wes Clark.
He can change America, he has already changed America.
As Wes Clark makes the final steps before he enters the 2008 Presidential Race here shortly I again ask all of you who hold General Clark in a high regard to take a second look at him.
Bottom line, We need a warrior in the Democratic Party and for America.
General Clark can bring the Democratic Party back to the party that is the "National Security" party again.
We can no longer have a monopoly on the American flag, Democrats are strong on Defense. We are strong and smart in foreign policy.
Democrats serve, Democrats have governed during war.
Well, with your help in 2008 we can put a warrior back in the White House. America has had roughly a dozen U.S. Generals elected President.
General Clark is a real warrior, in 2004 during a New Hampshire rally he was asked what he would do if someone attacked his patriotism?
His response:
"I'll beat the shit out of them" --General Wes Clark

They are going to go after us, they don't want us to win back the White House in 2008. They know they may not get back Congress, but they will put it all on the line for the White House in 2008.
Why? Because in nearly 40 years the Democrats have only occupied the White House 12 of those years. 12!
They are afraid, not just of one candidate but of our entire party. They are going to throw everything at us. They are going to nominate candidates in the Republican Party in '08 that are traditionally unacceptable just to stay competitive.
As a former Republican, they don't truly care about principles they care about winning. And frankly, they have been good at it.
Why? They fool us, all of us. We buy their crap, their base eats it for breakfast.
If there's one Democrat they do not want to win the nomination in '08 it's General Wesley Clark.
Because, other than trying to keep McCain from keeling over and nominating him who can beat a Retired 4 Star General?
No one.
Think about it. We need a warrior.
