We had a few minor, technical glitches, but overall Ben and I thought it went very well. This week, we've got a special guest: former Webb campaign senior strategist Steve Jarding. This will be a chance for Steve to tell us what he thinks the main reasons were that Jim Webb beat George Allen, how he sees 2008 shaping up, what he's up to these days, and what he REALLY thinks about Dick Wad(hams). Ha. :)

Caught the last 15 minutes of the show and it was good stuff. Hell, Steve Jardings humanity actually showed through .... a great guest to have on the air.
But I disagree with Ben's final point about Obama's speech. Namely that his applause is greater at the beginning than the end. Ben is accurate in reporting that the end Obama's speech didn't receive the same round of applause as his introduction garnered .... but that would be true of anyone, with the exception of say Bruce Sprinsteen at a Rock Concert giving an encore.
Obama proved to me last night that he is by far the BEST public speaker of the Democratic Pack and he has the Best Theme going in .... Audacious Hope. My impression is that he is very likely to be our next President. Naturally he's got a ways to go .... but he is a commanding presence in a very affable way and the rest of the field will have difficulty in comparison.
I'm not a committed Obama fan .... I'm a UB40fan ... but I just calls them as I sees them. Thanks for the show.
