Just this year, the Republican-controlled Virginia Senate approved Sen. R. Creigh Deeds' legislation authorizing non-partisan redistricting commissions. So, where do things stand in the House of Delegates? Who made the motion to kill the legislation for non-partisan redistricting in the House of Delegates?Of course, he'll fight for his corporate backers!Delegate Dave Albo
The remaining Republican delegates (Callahan, Rust, Hugo & Albo) in Fairfax County are increasingly isolated and come 2011 they are all going to be fighting like made for the few remaining Republican precincts in Fairfax County.
I'm surprised Albo favors partisan redistricting. He must figure that his odds are better vis a vis Hugo due to his seniority in the party with partisan redistricting rather that non-partisan.
