Fox "News" Disables Webb-Wallace interview?

This interview has gotten very little attention on FOX, probably because Webb - should he decide to make a bid for the Presidency - would be a formidable addition to an already stellar line-up of Democratic candidates. You can find the transcript at FOXNews.com. There's also a video posted at FOX but - and this is a first - it wouldn't work for me on either Safari or Firefox. Maybe you'll have better luck!

I tried clicking on the video on IE version 6.0 and got a whole lot of nothing.  The clips for Rep. Shuler and Senator Lindsay Graham worked OK, but the Wallace interview--well, there is a copy of the edited transcript.

Reminds me of a little passage from a book that I once read in Junior High School . . .

You must stop imagining that posterity will vindicate you, Winston.  Posterity will never hear of you.  You will be lifted clean out from the stream of history.

I think the scrub is on.  I've had trouble finding several articles when I came back later.  They'd been moved or scrubbed.  The only history must be remembered or archived privately.  Bush-enablers are rewriting history.

Remember in Orwell's "1984" that it was the sole purpose of the "Ministry of Truth" in "Oceania" to change history via eliminating people's names and events from books, magazines and newspapers?

Besides "Faux News", etc., perhaps "Ministry of Truth" should be the new moniker for FOX.

Please cue either the "Twilight Zone" or the "X-Files" theme song...

just three days ago after going to FoxNews and searching through their videos.  It was in two parts and both played fine.  Hmmmmm.

For what it's worth I just did a thorough search (Catzmaw - 2/7/2007 3:20:32 PM)
to try to get back to the video at Fox News, but without success.  They show the picture of Webb with a little arrow on him, but when I hit it nothing happens.  All I could find was the transcript.  I think they did take down the video link.  Jerks.
