Raising Kaine Listed on DailyKos Blogroll

Markos has just posted his new version of his blogroll, and he has pared it down quite a bit. The blogs on the list reflect what he reads, as well as the group blogs that are due for some exciting races this year and next
Raising Kaine is among the list.
I have updated the blogroll. It now includes only sites I visit regularly and group blogs from states I expect to become hot battlegrounds either this year (like KY) or next. The state-specific group blogs will come and go as states become politically hot and cold. Quite frankly, I now spend most of my blog-reading time in those group blogs looking for information on the House, Senate, and governor races I think will be most competitive.
The link above is the story where he announced this. It is a sign of the growing sophistication of the Virginia blogosphere that RK would be listed. Also, a sign that Raising Kaine is what we thought it was: Powerful and respected.

Thanks for letting us know! :)
By the way, what makes RK (Lowell - 2/5/2007 8:52:14 PM)
a blog worthy of the DKos blogroll is all of YOU, the contributors to what is, after all, a COMMUNITY blog. Thanks very much, you guys rock! :)
so when is the election coverage going to start? (totallynext - 2/5/2007 8:58:31 PM)
We should team up with other state blogs that are adjacent to our states, i.e. Maryland, West Virginia and North Carolina. Maybe we can get some cross over volunteers for our 07 races.
Suprised it didn't happen earlier (DukieDem - 2/5/2007 9:07:28 PM)
Kos gave a lot of shout-outs to RK during the General, referencing the blog pretty much everytime Webb was mentioned.
You know what - I just keep thinking abou this (totallynext - 2/5/2007 9:08:48 PM)
Lowell - we should make markos an "honorary Virginian" Have Governor Kaine do something - that would be a hoot..
Dailykos support of Webb and Kaine during 05 was critical.
I love it. (Lowell - 2/5/2007 9:19:39 PM)
Maybe we should start a petition like we did for Susan Mariner? :)
I wasn't around then so - maybe a little guidance (totallynext - 2/5/2007 9:20:58 PM)
sorry new to VA and the hole gang - do not know who Susan is - but any direction would be appreciated
YES! (Chris Guy - 2/5/2007 10:00:03 PM)
MyDD has had RK under their 'Virginia' link for some time. Bout time kos followed suit!
Congrats Lowell, Josh, RK - and I guess all of us who (AnonymousIsAWoman - 2/5/2007 10:09:55 PM)
make up RK through our diaries and comments. How nice to be recognized.
Wow, in baseball terms I guess you'd say you've made it to the show. (Catzmaw - 2/5/2007 10:48:42 PM)
Congrats to all you RK types. Keep up the good work.
I know im being a spoilsport (Matt in VA - 2/6/2007 2:52:40 AM)
but in the interest of truth its probably also an indication that he would prefer people read about Virginia politics here than other places, like NLS. (or quite obviously any number of conservative websites.)
just saying.
