"This S&%# is BANANAS!"

The recent discoveries of Raising Kaine, combined with the activities of the Republican Party over the past several years, have made it really hard for reasonable people like me to consider voting Republican.

At times, I have thought perhaps this attitude was unreasonable, not truly looking at the story from all sides.  I thought, perhaps the Republicans are not all that wrong, bad, and eccentric... Perhaps I am being too biased, and I need to try harder - no one could be that appalling, right?  Wrong!

So Lowell, you are right, man!  In the words of Gwen Stefani, "This S&%# is  BANANAS!"

The more I read and see the more I realize -- yes, they can be that bad!  Do we need to remind everyone that our state government was a  colossal mess under Jim Gilmore (Republican), and that Mark Warner and Tim Kaine (Democrats) have cleaned it up?  Warner and Kaine rolled up their sleeves and made it happen.  Now, Jerry the Duck has a genius  idea to repeal the 2004 budget?!?  What the hell planet is he from? 

Mark Warner and Tim Kaine and our state government working together made it happen.  Our representatives - Republicans and Democrats -- working together.  Thanks to them, WE are now the Best Managed State  in the Union, No. 2 for Job Growth, and our Triple A Bond rating has now been secured.  Not many of today's "leaders" can pull that off. 

That's why we are so fortunate to have Tim Kaine's dedication to continue moving Virginia forward.  This November, we have the amazing opportunity to continue the progress Warner and Kaine initiated, while Jerry Kilgore wants the voters running to the polls to vote on referenda every other week, with most not even understanding the implications.  Personally, I don't want to read thousands of pages of documents, or worse get the bulleted version.  Hey, I have a job, and I want my leaders to do THEIR job. 

Mark Warner and Tim Kaine took their administration seriously,  they did not run the government with the attitude that the law would not permit a second term.  Instead, they set us up for continued success -  to move us forward in the long run.  They made Virginia better for all of us - Republicans,  Democrats and everyone in between!  They care for our state.  We must continue that for another four years!
