Larry Sabato: Here, There, Everywhere!

This is hilarious. Turns out that Virginia's own Larry Sabato (not "Not Larry Sabato") is quoted everywhere. In fact, "the only places where the professor wasnGÇÖt quoted last year were Idaho, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Wyoming."
Even better, Sabato - a political science professor at UVA - apparently is an expert on everything, from "CBS news anchor Katie CouricGÇÖs declining ratings to the potential execution of a man who converted to Christianity in Afghanistan." Ha. According to the Hotline blog:
...there are far too many lazy reporters and at least a few scribes who have but a facile feel for their beats. Sabato is both witty and weighty, and he knows American politics as well as anyone. But canGÇÖt reporters find anyone else?
The reality is that dozens of top-flight political scientists churn out fascinating politics and elections research on a regular basis. Of course, not all of them give good interviews like Sabato...
So there you have it: reporters are lazy, and Larry Sabato gives good interview on any and every subject under the sun. Sounds like a match made in heaven! :)

My manager did get his turned in. One of the prizes is with Larry Sabato and he won. He can't make it so he gave it away to 1st come/ 1st serve in our group.
