Musketeer Michael "Mac" McGarvey in Today's "RT-D"

In today's (Tuesday, January 9) Richmond Times-Dispatch there's an excellent article about several of Jim Webb's new Senate staff members, especially one of his former Vietnam radio operators, Michael "Mac" McGarvey and his new duties as legislative assistant for veteran's affairs in Senator Webb's administration, available at this link:

As I have explained here before, Mac and I are the same age and became friends as a result of his frequent visits to our home, along with several other campaign workers and Jim, during Webb's campaign. I am very glad to see Mac getting so involved in Jim's administration since there is no more dedicated, loyal friend to Jim Webb than Mac McGarvey.
Mac is an exceptionally intelligent individual who possesses an unusually accurate and insightful understanding of politics, government and - especially - people, and he will be of much benefit to Jim and to the Veteran's Administration in general.
Plus, it's important to keep those "Musketeers" working together to the betterment of the kingdom.
