Good news just released from the office of Senator Tim Johnson (via TPM):
Admiral John Eisold, Attending Physician of the United States Capitol said, "Senator Tim Johnson has continued to have an uncomplicated post-operative course. Specifically, he has been appropriately responsive to both word and touch. No further surgical intervention has been required."
Very good news.

For the update!  I have been a little concerned due to the LACK of updates, but I'm glad to hear that everything seems to be going well.  Hopefully Johnson will enjoy a speedy recovery.

In addition to having a son in the U. S. Army who has served recently in Afghanistan and Iraq, Tim Johnson is a most accomplished leader, statesman, father and husband about whom you can become better acquainted at this link:  http://johnson.senat...

Although,  if the worst had occured, and Johnson had a Terry Sciavo type existence, under republican rules he would have been alive, and able to serve in the senate.
