Support for Donald McEachin

Tonight I had the pleasure of attending a reception for The Honorable A. Donald McEachin, member of the House of Delegates for the 74th District. The reception was held at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond and Governor Tim Kaine, along with plenty of others, were there to show their support.

Why was I there? To say hello and offer my support for his future campaign. During the 2006 campaign in VA-01 one of the many appearances Don made was at the Northern Neck Democratic Picnic at Belle Isle State Park on October 14th. I was once again impressed with him and the human caring he brings to government and politics.  Yes, he is smart and articulate but I'm most impressed with how much he really cares.

Fortunately for anyone who was not in attendance tonight you'll get another opportunity to meet and help Don on January 5th.

Throughout my years of public service, I've met many impressive and dedicated individuals. One such person is Delegate and fellow Democrat Don McEachin. Don has served the 74th Delegate district and the entire Commonwealth of Virginia with passion, intelligence, and skillful leadership. This coming year it is anticipated that Don will run in a primary against State Senator Benjamin Lambert (D?), who recently endorsed George Allen in his failed Senate bid.

Larry and I would like to invite you to a reception in support of Don on January 5, 2007, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at our home.
