Tom the Dancing Bug

Ruben Bolling is a great cartoonist, whose strip Tom the Dancing Bug is buried in the back pages of the Washington Post's Friday "Weekend" section. This week's strip is typical of his political work. He also does straight nonsense.
And what goes better than Bolling's look at political nonsense than a picture of Rummy after having received an award in Philadelphia . . . for something.
As a diplomat once told me, if you kill a few people you'll go to jail, but if you kill thousands statues are erected of you.

Congratulations, PM (Andrea Chamblee - 12/3/2006 1:36:48 PM)
I read about your successes - and several near successes - in the Post today. Congrats.
You've become prolific here on RK. It's good to see so much of your entries along with those by Dr. Montoya.
Your help on the campaign produced some valuable and interesting info. Will you be at the Thank You Party Dec 16th? Unfortunately, RK billed it as one for "Webb volunteers," but it is for all who helped in the 8th, 10th and 11th.
Thanks (PM - 12/3/2006 6:21:11 PM)
I may be going. Have to see what we have scheduled for that day -- we're going to a concert in the evening which is rare for us. Sometimes children's schedules override the adults on Saturdays. I'll decide in a few days.
It's my second inker; they're very hard to win.
I'll take the blame... (Brian - 12/4/2006 6:47:05 PM)

I just recycled the title of the Press Release which was forwarded to me.
My bad. :)
Hard to complain when it worked (Andrea Chamblee - 12/6/2006 1:43:04 PM)
Hard to complain about your Webb-centric web-site when it worked, and Dems all over have you to thank for the Senate Majority.
Although when there always seemed to be half a dozen diaries on Page One on how Webb was going to save mankind, some of us did start to call it "Webb-porn" ;-)
Anyway, maybe you could post another announcement in the next 5 days that would call out the troops for Dec 16th. It'd be nice to see a good turn out there.
