Virginia Democrats' sure win this year, Creigh Deeds, is getting more support from a new group called "Sportsmen for Deeds." The article says former Del. Vic Thomas, "a champion of conservation and sportsmen issues during his 30-year tenure in the General Assembly, will act as the group's honorary chairman."
Thomas describes the group as "an organization comprised of hunters, anglers, and trappers that will actively support Sen. Creigh Deeds's campaign for attorney general."
Sportsmen for Deeds will work to elect Sen. Creigh Deeds as Virginia's next attorney general by mounting an aggressive grassroots campaign. The group will bring together prominent sportsmen throughout the Commonwealth who support Deeds's record on hunting, fishing, and conservation issues.
