Quick Commonwealth Hits

Perhaps it's a post-election breather, but a lot of Virginia blogs have been inactive lately.  The blogroll may need some cleaning up again soon.

- Speaking of which, sounds like Moral Contradictions is signing off.

- Back to active blogs, Waldo highlights Virginia's declining tobacco crop. What's next for Virginia's tobacco farmers?

- James Martin thinks John Warner is beatable.

- Shawn Becker has some breathtaking aerial shots of the New River Prison's proposed location.

- NGD issues its first press release.

- And one more reminder for the Janet Oleszek for State Senate Live Blog thread. Pop by and leave a question or comment for her - Janet will be by at 7pm to answer our questions.

As some of you have no doubt notices, these quick hits are for blog entries on Virginia-related topics. (Stop by the blog-rolled blogs for their other topics.) So, to get on the QCH, blog about the Commonwealth! And, as always, this is an open thread.

(UPDATE: NLS has exclusive background on the Webb-Bush dust-up.)

NDN (pitin - 11/29/2006 4:48:44 PM)
don't agree with all their policies, but they did good work reaching out to the Latino community this year.

Thanks for the fix.
