Senator-elect Webb on Meet the Press

Jim Webb was on Meet the Press along with Jon Tester.  Great comments by both.

The more I hear from Jim Webb the better I feel about our chances as a nation to move forward with the middle class.

Currently, our legislation has one group in mind: the elite.  With our current unwillingness to enforce trade agreements and unfair tax codes, the elite have moved forward while the middle class has just stagnated and likely left to pay off our massive debt.  I can guarantee that business will be no where to be found when it comes to paying the bills sitting on our nations front steps.

Senator-elect Webb today said that his primary concern as a Senator are how we as a nation address globalization and the health of our middle class.  This was music to my ears.

Virginians, I don't see how you could have picked a better candidate and senator.  Normally as time goes on I get less satisfied with our elected politicians as they step back from campaign promises and forget who voted for them.  With Jim Webb, I feel even better as time goes on.

Thank you Virginia.  It looks like you found us a good one.

Jim Webb is Everybody's Senator. I hear that Tester is an organic farmer.  He should be an interesting presence.  It was cool that both were on at the same time.

Another Home Run for Webb! (cycle12 - 11/19/2006 11:01:09 PM)
Thanks, Rob and relawson, for providing these "Meet the Press" video links from this morning's MSNBC telecast.

In my opinion, Jim Webb hit another home run today, and he's not even in office yet!

What will Jim Webb do (WWJWD) next?

Please stay tuned . . .

Thanks again!

Steve

Jim Webb appears to still support his campaign issues (relawson - 11/20/2006 10:27:18 AM)
"In my opinion, Jim Webb hit another home run today, and he's not even in office yet!"

I agree.  If he were going to move back on his campaign promises he would have already started that.  For this reason, I think Jim Webb the Senator won't be much different than Jim Webb the candidate.

In other words, you guys will hopefully get what you voted for.
