Webb for Senate E Mail: "Tomorrow, you decide" with good comments on close races!

Below is a letter from Jim Webb titled "Tomorrow, you decide."

Jim Webb makes excellent points that are relevant to all close races in my opinion when he says:

"Have no doubt:  the campaign that does the better job getting its supporters to the polls will be the victor," it is so important to ensure that every single one of our supporters votes tomorrow," and "Your voice could be the one that decides the fate of this race."

I especially agree with these comments about what is on the line in this election:

"This election is going to have a decisive impact on the most critical issues facing our nation today, from resolving the conflict in Iraq to making our nation safer at home" and "We need bold new leaders with the courage to stand up to George Bush and demand a change in course for our nation."

Please forward this on because that is an excellent summary of what this election is really all about and why it is so important in my opinion!

This has been a hard fought race, and the polls show it could go either way.  That is why it is so important to ensure that every single one of our supporters votes tomorrow.  Have no doubt:  the campaign that does the better job getting its supporters to the polls will be the victor.

Then, forward this email to five of your friends.  Remind them just how high the stakes are, and ask them to make sure that they vote, as well.

It's time to make a clear break from the failed policies of the past.  We need bold new leaders with the courage to stand up to George Bush and demand a change in course for our nation.  You have my word that if you choose me as your next senator, that is exactly what I will do.

I want to thank you for the amazing support you have given to me over the last months.  When we first entered the Democratic primary, nobody thought that we stood a chance of winning the nomination -- much less beating George Allen.  Just look at us now. 

Everything we have been able to accomplish is due in large measure to you and the thousands of others who have given their time, money and energy to this campaign. 

So thank you for all that you have done.  Now, it's time to cast your ballot.  So, once again, please vote (locate your polling station here).  And then ask five of your friends to do the same.  If every single one of you does that, there is no question that this race will be ours.
