Statement from Webb Campaign on Voter Suppression

Please see here for important information from Jay Myerson, General Counsel of the Democratic Party of Virginia. This is provided as a counter to the apparently widespread voter suppression activities being undertaken by the Republicans. The #1 message? GO VOTE TOMORROW! Do NOT let anyone talk you out of it. If they try to do so, report them to the authorities immediately. Thank you.

What really ticks me off (libra - 11/6/2006 11:08:00 PM)
is that, in all probability, the people who are likely to be either scared off (by calls telling them they'll be arrested if they come to vote because of some trumped up reason) and those who are likely to be misled (by calls telling them their polling station had been moved at the las minute) are not us, the political junkies here. We're reading blogs, so we're informed. But people who get their info from TV, won't even know about it until it's "after the mustard" -- maybe n Wednesday, at the earliest
