Vandalism!! - Giant WEBB Sign DOWN

It happened.  Last night Trespassing Vandals, systematically cut down and dismantled the 10 ft tall Webb sign profiled on this site a few weeks ago.  http://www.raisingka...

  The criminals that did this cut the supports with a sharp device and left their tell-tale foot impressions around the ruins of the sign.  Many of the posts and materials were damaged. Apparently the criminals thought nothing of going on private land (clearly posted), destroying private property, and supressing one land-owner's free speech.

Miraculously even the Feder signs nearby and all of the other large Webb, Allen and Wolf signs on adjacent properties were untouched.

Update:
  The sign was repared and re-erected one day after the destruction by (of all things) a family of Republicans that don't like Bush or Allen and are this year strongly supporting Webb.

The land-owner didn't know them, and yet they just stopped and di this good deed....so the sign lives, and all drivers on Rt. 17 heading south to Warrenton from Marshall can't miss it.

If I wasn't already working in Blacksburg for Webb tomorrow, I'd be in my car ready to help you put it back together!  Don't let them get away with this!

similar problems. In one area of Virginia Beach, 6 different Kellam (4x8's)signs all torn off the poles and for a few-the poles were bent so they could not be used again. In another area, the Kellam yards signs survived for a few days but all the Webb ones were removed within 24 hrs.

Getting tired of the thugs.
