I'm sure the founding fathers would not endorse Bob Corker into American Government, Look there is nothing wrong about being filthy rich in America, It's not a sin. What is a sin is when people like Frist and Corker and Cheney (uses off-shore tax shelters) and others (they know who they are in government) corrupt the tax system to pay low taxes. Why are the very rich men like Corker taking jobs that pay $175,000 a year (Corker reported $5 Million in income in 2005 on tax form, Search Google News for (Corker + Taxes) Why? Because they want to corrupt the system for self-greed, they want to be wined and dined by the lobbies.Bill Frist had blind trust funds that could see. Corker had blind trust funds that could see. If a Corrupt Cheney replaced a Corrupt Saddam in the Oil Throne, then a Corrupt Corker looks like he is replacing a Corrupt Frist. Corker and Frist are both corrupt trash in my book. I don't have a problem with Tenn. Citizens voting in Corruption for their proxy voice but my Senator Webb may not be able to push the Virginian Citizens Agenda through a vote because of these rubber stamp corrupt millionaires and billionaires in the Senate. Corker affects my Senator's Agenda with his corporate lobby vote.

I think the rich on either side probably exploit the loopholes to keep their riches, but the Democrats have consistently introduced legislation that would benefit the poor and middle class, and assign more of the tax burden to those who wouldn't miss it.  The difference is that the Republicans...especially George Allen...have done their part to vote against that legislation.  Like you said, there is no sin in being rich.  The sad shame about the Republican Party these days is that they seem to be determined to make sure that the American Dream is no longer possible for anyone who hasn't realized it already.  I saw an article on AOL news a few months ago.  This article talked about what the rich spent their money on.  $200K on clothing per year, hundreds of thousands on spa-weekend get-aways, millions on art.  In reality, they didn't know how much they spent or how much money they had....it was all looked after by financial managers.  Would they miss taxes?
