Key finding: "Charges that Webb holds negative views toward women may be having an impact in the campaign in so far as there is no gender gap. Allen holds a two-point lead among men and a three-point edge among women."

See? I'm banging my head on the desk again because I've been telling everyone for about a month that we absolutely must have a strong attack on the Webb Hates Women theme the Allen campaign has been running. Will somebody from this campaign tell me why this would be a BAD idea? Look at voting statistics. In close campaigns like this one, the edge is always provided by women. From the numerous conversations I've had with female potential voters the very first thing they do is tell me they heard Webb hates women. The current ads are not disturbing this rather deeply felt assumption. The attack has to be much more direct and to the point and has to say: a) Webb likes women (of course this somehow made Harold Ford look bad, but I digress); b) Allen's votes have been against women's interests; and c) Webb supports those things that Allen voted against. Stop the little 30 second blurbs and put out something with substance and for maybe 45 seconds. Please do something about this. From what I hear you might actually have to money to do it.
If he loses this election it will be because the campaign, for some unfathomable reason, did not take notice of his problem, however ridiculous, with women.

Every one knows that with this failed college financing and econmics the Republicans are the ones with the money and can afford to send their kids to college. So who do you think answered most of the questions in this survey.
From what is out there and the things being done to atract women, the vote is going Jim's way. With women a candidate needs to stay the high ground, but respond quickly and that is whatThe Webb campaign is doing, so please stop banging your head. We need you with a clear mind.
