Hinkle Speaks the Truth

A. Barton Hinkle, whose name I am not going to make fun of, as much as I want to, has taken both candidates to task for some of their stranger positions and ideas.  Jerry Kilgore even liked the article about Kaine so much that he linked to it from his website.  Now, however, its Jerry's turn.  My favorite line from the article?

So Kilgore proposes cutting taxes, and -- mirabile dictu -- using state budget surpluses to fund more programs. To be fair, it could work. All he has to do is find a strange old man on the road to market who will give him five magic beans.

Mr. Hinkle, thank you.  Hopefully, this will serve as a wake-up smack across the face to both candidates.
