October 26, 2006. Little Rock, AR. Today, former NATO Supreme Allied Commander General Wesley Clark endorsed Judy Feder for Congress in Virginia's 10th District.

"There is no doubt Judy Feder is the kind of leader Virginia needs as a part of the team to chart a new course and bring fresh ideas to Washington.  Her commitment to public service provides Judy with the experience and perspective we need on Capitol Hill, that's why I am proud to offer my support to her campaign.

"The people of Virginia deserve someone in Congress who will do their job and who will support the men and women in uniform by demanding from the White House a strategy for success in Iraq so we can bring our troops home, who will work tirelessly to ensure access to affordable health care for all Americans, and who will demand that accountability and good government be restored in Washington. Judy Feder has made a career of standing up for people and demanding answers to difficult questions. She's just the kind of leader we need on Capitol Hill and I am proud to endorse her candidacy," said General Clark.

Feder said, "I am honored today to have the support of General Clark and thank him for his service to his country and for his endorsement of my candidacy. General Clark energized and brought hundreds of thousands of voters into the Democratic Party, I hope I can do the same. Northern Virginia needs a leader who will fight for a new direction in Iraq, and who will bring change and accountability to Washington. The only way to change Washington is to change the people you send there."

General Wesley K. Clark is a retired four-star general and served as the Supreme Allied Commander of Europe where he commanded NATO forces and directed Operation Allied Force in the Balkans, putting a stop to the ethnic cleansing by the Serbs.
