The Richmond Webb for Senate office is located at 4900 Radford Avenue, at the corner of Radford and Staples Mill Road, near Willow Lawn shopping mall. The phone number is 804-440-8840 and the office is open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Fridays, the office closes at 5:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday hours are from noon to 5:00 pm.
The Webb campaign in Richmond invites you to come by and pick up a yard sign, volunteer to work an event, sign up to phone bank or just come say "hi."
It's a ground game from now on folks. That means absolutely ALL HANDS ON DECK! The latest Mason-Dixon poll show Allen with a slight lead over Jim, 47% to 43%, with a +/- 4%, of 625 registered voters polled last Tuesday through Thursday. (Here for Virginian-Pilot reporting. The good news is that an incumbent two weeks before an election has yet to break 50% - even once. The bad news is that Jim has leveled out at 43%.
The most helpful thing you can do to help is PHONE-BANK! We have a great list of likely Democratic voters. We need to contact each and every one of them to remind them exactly how important it is for them to get out and vote on Nov. 7th. These are folks who have good histories of voting Democratic, but they miss an election every now and again. We can't have them sitting this one out. Too much is on the line and we must remind them of that fact.
Call Sandra or Luke at 757-200-9745 to volunteer some time. We have lunchtime shifts and evening shifts going until 9:00 pm. Or just show up to put in even the smallest amount of time as you can squeeze in. We are running a coordinated campaign for both Webb and Kellam from Webb HQ located at 5101 Cleveland Street, Suite 302 in Virginia Beach, 23462, in the BBT Building at the corner of Cleveland and Witchduck, very close to the Witchduck exit off 264. Hours: Mon-Thurs, 10AM to 9PM, Fri & Sat, 10AM to 6PM, Sun 1PM to 6PM.

Breakdowns on the Mason-Dixon poll indicate that Jim carries a 5% point lead over Allen in Hampton Roads, and that was before Webb's great weekend meeting and greeting so many in our area last weekend. But we need that number to be much bigger. We need every person reading this to commit time RIGHT NOW! We can win. We can elect Jim Webb to the United States Senate. It is completely still within OUR power to affect this race.
So, as Lowell over at Raising Kaine put it... "Just suck it up and work harder!"
