George Allen can flip-flop all he wants in the last two weeks of a Senate race he's in danger of losing, but that doesn't change the fact that he's been a big part of that "arrogance" and "stupidity" the past 6 years.

So why in God's name would we hire him for another 6 years?  Anyone have any ideas out there?  I can't think of any, which is why I urge you all to  hire the guy who said back in 2002 that going into Iraq would be a strategic disaster.  Go Jim Webb!!!

P.S.  I love how President Bush himself, George Allen's master, is now saying that the situation in Iraq is similar to that in Vietnam 35 years ago.  And Bush should know, he was there...well, actually, he wasn't there (e.g., in Vietnam) just like George Allen wasn't there either.  Jim Webb, of course, WAS there, and he's the one of these three who figured out that Iraq would be a debacle well before it started.  Most of the time I feel like Bush and Allen are still struggling to figure out the difference between a Shi'ite and a Sunni, a Kurd and a Turk, but that's a discussion for another day I suppose...

President Bush (libra - 10/22/2006 7:44:45 PM)
is saying all sorts of things; "whatever the saliva brings to the tongue" (to use another Polish saying), apparently.
