Generation Webb!

Election Day is November 7th!

We need your help to elect Jim Webb Virginia's next U.S. Senator.

Virginia needs a reality-based leader in the Senate to hold George Allen and the Bush Administration accountable for their actions, and offer new ideas on how to address the serious issues we face today. Iraq, out of control spending, dependence on foreign oil, rising student loan costs, and outsourcing of American jobs will greatly impact our generation as we bear the brunt of the casualties, costs and responsibility for cleaning up their mess.

Jim Webb is our voice for change. He's spent a lifetime fighting for what is right over what is popular, and representing those in need. He served this country with honor and integrity, from a Marine on the battlefield of Vietnam, to Assistant Secretary of Defense, all the way to Secretary of the Navy. He fought on behalf of countless veterans and refugees to give them a voice in government and protect their rights. He will continue to fight on our behalf to clean up Congress and get us back on the right track.

If you've had enough of the Republican spin, smear tactics and fear-mongering, it's time to DO SOMETHING: VOLUNTEER, VOTE, and help us clean house and send George Allen packing.

Young Voters from every part of Virginia are taking up the call. This election is in your hands.

Very inspiring and encouraging... (Loudoun County Dem - 10/22/2006 8:43:33 AM)
Welcome to RK... And thank you...

Great video! (Todd Smyth - 10/22/2006 9:59:57 AM)
Very well done.

Great stuff.... (bladerunner - 10/22/2006 11:23:43 AM)
Now that's what's it's all about. These young adults have a clue and are doing some outstanding service.

Check out these homemade ads... (Loudoun County Dem - 10/22/2006 1:03:19 PM)
These ads are posted on dailykos:
http://www.dailykos....

All of these ads are homemade (not televised) parodies of the PC/MAC ads from Apple, I think you will enjoy them...

great stuff (TurnVirginiaBlue - 10/22/2006 3:03:15 PM)
That's what I'm hoping happens generally, that we get people making their own ads, their own commentary and opinions.

It makes the whole process much more Democratic.

I noticed while these guys are mult-lingual are they texting anybody?

the "2 thumb" technologies are huge in the under 25 crowd as a communication medium.

Are really great!

Honestly I think this sticker is superior to others that I've seen, very very nice!

On the website the links to "issues" might be revamped to focus on things < 25 are going to care most about...
ex.  Iraq, student loans, debt being dumped upon them, future job markets (trade).

Where are these being shown? (SueBonnetSue - 10/23/2006 4:19:31 AM)
I hope not shown on television.  Adults might not be impressed.  They could get the idea that kids are running things in the Webb campaign.

GenerationWebb Video (Subi9 - 10/23/2006 10:59:21 AM)
The video was made to help launch the new GenerationWebb outreach effort to 18 to 35 year old voters. Video is a great way to communicate with younger voters. It is featured on the new site http://www.generaito... as a way to show them that they can get involved and that their peers are already doing it and devoting their personal time.
