Very Powerful (Eric - 10/19/2006 8:10:16 AM)
Olbermann excels yet again. If you haven't read/heard this, do so.
I couldn't agree more!! (ub40fan - 10/19/2006 8:14:45 AM)
Where is fearless leadership these days? In the hands of the Webb Campaign ... Let's get Jim to the Senate Floor!!
Is there any chance... (DanG - 10/19/2006 8:39:15 AM)
That we can get Olbermann to run for Senate in New York when Chuck retires?
Lowell, I smell another draft project...
Why not Virginia.... (Left Wing - 10/19/2006 9:05:42 AM)
....when John Warner retires.
Eloquent (Silver Fox - 10/19/2006 9:07:33 AM)
Eloquent and right on target. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Abrogate habeus corpus and you get the return of the Star Chamber.

very rare and honest journalism (accidentalwoman - 10/19/2006 10:22:53 AM)
the overwhelming majority of news outlets have had little or nothing to say about these issues.
does anyone know what the inevitable signing statement says ?
There was no signing statement (Bubby - 10/19/2006 11:18:16 AM)
Bush got his crown. It's spooky.
Powerful and Courageous in a Honored Tradition (GinterParked - 10/19/2006 10:25:33 AM)
Olbermann's commentary is the most powerful indictment I've heard of the socially criminal actions of the Bush Administration. I predict that this commentary will be remembered, and will stand the test of time.
Olbermann has learned from history. Bush is ignorant of history. I'll direct you all to the philosophical forbearer of Olbermann's commentary. I suspect Bush is ignorant of this as well.

Bush is not ignorant of history (Bubby - 10/19/2006 11:20:33 AM)
Bush is guilty. And history suggests that altering the law gives him cover. We have a big problem here.
This is such an awesome defense (Catzmaw - 10/19/2006 9:40:36 PM)
of our great Constitution and Bill of Rights. It's right up there with "J'Accuse". He's calling Bush out on this one. Wish we had more courageous voices in the media to tell the people what's happening. I'm spreading it to all my friends and relatives.
MSNBC and cuts (Tink - 10/20/2006 4:30:22 PM)
I just read that MSNBC is going under huge budget cuts. Offices closed and moved into the NYC offices of NBC. Lots of cutting programs.
I hope Keith survives it. They should keep Keith and Chris Matthews.
