1. Some recent information says that Haliburton has overcharged the US government over $1 Billion for services rendered in Iraq. E-mail records show that Vice president Cheney may have had a substantial role in guiding no bid contracts to Haliburton. As chair Committee on Government Reform why haven't you investigated either the Haliburton overcharges or the no-bid contracts?
2. Do you believe US minimum wage and other labor laws should apply to ALL US territory? Why not the Marianas Islands? (See the PBS series Moyers on America, Capitol Crimes, http://www.pbs.org/m... detailing the Republicans link to the Marianas garment sweat shops and their large contributions to the Republican party)
3. In light of the Abramoff and Foley investigations and the total lack of timely congressional investigations, do you support the establishment of a permanent non-partisan inspector general for Congress?
(1) Why did you sign the Terri Schaivo subpoena? Are you sorry? Have you apologized to her next of kin?
(2) When are you going to subpoena Jack Abramoff, not just his records at Preston Gates? Why did you tke Abramoff money? The tribes testified they only gave money to people Jack told them to, even though Jack never told them why; why did Jack name you?
(3) Why did you vote against the amendments for lobbying reform and ethics reform that would have made them more meaningful?
(4) How many of your constituents are killed or wounded in Iraq? Why didn't you have a hearing for Valarie Plame or for the lies on WMDs?
(5) Why is postal reform taking 10 years?
(6) When will we know who are the ICG Government clients who pay your wife or her company, and whether they testified at one of your hearings?
I'll try to leave some for the rest of you. Sorry, i probably got carried away...
