Fliers - Updated

It's time for us grassroots supporters to push, push, push. And in the "do it ourselves" spirit, I've updated the Had Enough fliers that originally appeared in this diary.
In addition to the Had Enough featuring Jim Webb with Barack Obama, we now have two new ones with photos of Webb and Bobby Scott and Webb and Mark Warner.
With Barack Obama |
With Mark Warner |
Please download the PDFs you like, print off some copies, and start handing them out.
And if you're not crazy about these, don't be shy about creating your own and handing them out. Let's get our message out there while we still can!
I also hope to have a new one out shortly, so keep an eye on RK for new handouts.
[UPDATE: Due to concerns raised by the Scott campaign, we've removed the flier with Bobby Scott's image. We will try to replace it if possible.]

I really like those (TurnVirginiaBlue - 10/16/2006 11:30:33 PM)
Usually the typical fliers go straight to recycle bin for me.
That one I would actually read.
OT: Allen is now attacking Kos money raised for Webb (beachmom - 10/17/2006 12:32:09 AM)
I'm sorry, I didn't see this anywhere on RK, and posted it on the VBDems Blog:

Windshield Wipers (DanG - 10/17/2006 12:39:55 AM)
We can slip these things under the windshield wipers of cars, and possibly do a lot of good.
I've heard from a few people (Eric - 10/17/2006 7:48:55 AM)
that they don't like the windshield wiper fliers. Ultimately I'm not sure if that approach is good or bad - probably like most forms of advertising. It's effective on some people and other people hate it.
But I encourage everyone to move forward with distributing fliers any way they can.
Be creative - print a few and drop them anywhere and everywhere you can. Community bulletin boards, while at your local farmers market, at local stores (ask permission first), at events, on cars, at people's houses, while walking your dog.
Thank You Eric (Newport News Dem - 10/17/2006 8:29:25 AM)
We will use the Scott fliers for efforts in Newport News. We always visit the cars of church members during services.
Classy and Good... but (Teddy - 10/17/2006 10:24:31 AM)
where's Iraq as a Failure? Isn't that the leading issue? Katrina is a failure, but some folks think there's blame to go around to local and state officials, too, whereas Iraq is unquestionably a Republican fiasco. Was there some reason you picked Katrina--- I know there were plenty of republican failures to choose from, so I'm not complaining, just asking.
Address and Suggestions (norman swingvoter - 10/17/2006 2:45:05 PM)
I have made up a flyer myself. I put my name on it but didn't understand that I had to put my address on it. Is adding the address required?
I have been putting some flyers on parked cars in my neighborhood. I am going to expand. When I give money to someone, I am also going to hand out a flyer. So far everyone has been most polite and promised to read the flyer. When a person has just received money, how can he/she refuse. I'm talking about when I pick up drycleaning, tip a waitress, buy groceries, etc.
