Rep. Christopher Shays (R-CT) says that the Mark Foley sex scandal and Republican was not that big a deal, because at least "Dennis Hastert didn't kill anybody." Ahhh...now THAT clear is all up. Unless someone dies, it's not important. So what if a member of that fine, self-proclaimed "Family Values" party spends his time exchanging sexually explicit e-mails with underage male pages? So what if there's a 6-year (or more) period of inaction by Republican leaders in the House, despite their knowledge of this activity? Hell, at least noboy DIED! I mean, this could be IRAQ or something, right? Uhhhh...maybe that's a bad example for Republicans to use. Oh well, you get the point. Don't you?

Serves them (and Hastert too) bloody right.
