This is the best ad so far from the campaign. I saw the new DSCC ad, but it has the potential to offend some people. This one is straightforward and inoffensive, while still hammering Allen for his lies.

But I want less defensive/response ads from Webb and more Webb ads focused on what Webb will do.
How about Webb's 5% tax cut for veterans that he mentioned in the primary? This is proposal that will win Webb a ton of military votes. Voters are still in the dark on this proposal.

This other ad should probably be played when Allen is busy smearing Webb...as a response ad.
But, I think honestly you gotta hit back on this stuff, else you look like a wimp plus people actually believe whatever comes across the TV all of the time.

The best part of the ad were the shots of George Allen.
Allen's expression screamed "I am a Sewage Salesmen"-- he just had that real unctuous politician semi-smile.
This is the best ad of the election season. It strikes a nice balance between being aggressive, but not over the top. As stated earlier: it makes great use of the "Problem, Solution" frame. The answer to the problem is clearly "Jim Webb".
