They Can't Even Protect Us From Spinach!

How did these crooks, liars and hypocrites take charge?
Dick Cheney, George Bush, Karl Rove, Tom Delay
Mark Foley, Dennis Hastert, Rick Santorum, Jack Abramoff
Duke Cunningham, George Allen, Bill Frist, Bob Ney
People are figuring out that not only are Republicans unable to protect us from spinach, their stubborn incompetence and selfish indifference is actually making things worse everywhere. Republicans have made a few of their wealthy supporters wealthier at the expense of turning the world against us, giving America the worse debt in human history and dooming our children to a lifetime of terrorism and massive debt. Whether it's coal mine safety, hurricane evacuation, food and drug safety, border protection, job safety, Republicans have traded our future for their own selfish greed and arrogance to take and maintain power of our country and the world.
So, how did these idiots take charge? People who tell the truth often don't think about how to sound credible but people who lie are entirely focused on sounding credible and that is why so many people believe the lie and that is why Republicans are in power. They have mastered the art of lying with sincerity (Bill Clinton being the exception). Now, we need to educate more people of this fact or get better at telling the truth with sincerity or we have to do both. We ALL have to be more aggressive and speak with conviction or continue to suffer the consequences.

Just think there is just enough to use to illustrate a Calendar (Used2Bneutral - 10/6/2006 2:11:23 PM)
it that was the case..... then lets say that you just assign them each a month.... that would make Allen "Mr October" and he is already in his Holloween costume dressed as a cowboy......

A deck of cards? (Bubby - 10/6/2006 2:55:14 PM)
There are enough for four suits. At least four Kingpins, several Queens, and yes, even some Jacks. Ad in the Directors of Communication, miscellaneous staff, and some prominent donors (Aces) - you have a deck of cards, suitable for making a

Lobbyists (TurnVirginiaBlue - 10/6/2006 2:36:34 PM)
Webb has made a campaign point to challenge the current legal corruption and legal bribes going on in Washington.
That's the real problem and as a result, we have "representatives" who are really using their seat for power and to funnel money and why we're in the mess today.
Allen is part of the culture of corruption.
Bill Moyers did a 2 hr special this week on the corruption of lobbyists and how it is still going on, perfectly legal.
This is to me, problem #1 and the reason we have so much bad policy.
It also is a very real problem because one cannot get elected without huge amounts of war chest and who has the money? The "donors" who want to buy a congress representative.
Totally agree (Todd Smyth - 10/6/2006 3:25:35 PM)

with power and politics than people and progress. The Bush administration and right-wing GOP agenda is simply: anti-peace, anti-progress, anti-liberty.
***Susan Ralston Resigns*** (vote-left - 10/6/2006 4:29:56 PM)
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - An aide to top White House political adviser Karl Rove resigned on Friday in the fallout over a congressional report showing many White House contacts with ex-lobbyist Jack Abramoff.
White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said the aide, Susan Ralston, submitted her resignation after recognizing that "a protracted discussion of these matters would be a distraction to the White House."
Ralston chose to step down and "we support her decision and consider the matter closed," Perino said.

Yeah, I bet they wish the matter's closed (Shenandoah Democrat - 10/6/2006 6:24:28 PM)
So Susan Ralston, Abramoff's staffer who almost got her --- caught in the revolving door has resigned and Rove thinks the matter is closed. No way Jose. We need to be ready to use the Abramoff scandel, the NIE report, Bernstein's book (remember that?) and all the other stuff we can muster to counter the Repubs avalanche of attacks in the final weeks. We can't expect any more good news. Let's use what we have to roast these hypocritical fools! Remember Abramoff! Remember NIE! Quote Carl! Stick to the issues! Corruption and National Security! We don't even need Foley to win! Go Jim!!

Meanwhile,
the National Journal's new House Rankings are out with this note: "If the Republicans somehow keep control of Congress in the wake of all this, then the Democrats probably will file for Chapter 11 or be sued for political malpractice."
Key observation: Of the 30 most vulnerable seats in the nation, 29 are held by Republicans.

Too bad there isn't any space for Tancredo, Kyl, and Talent. Maybe that could be included in a spinoff calendar for "Bush's Rubberstamps". Of course, Sanitorum and Allen would also have to be featured prominently.
I agree about the montage... (vote-left - 10/7/2006 12:12:28 PM)
