She then goes on to quote a Daily Press article about how push polls are bringing up hot button issues to get voters energized.
Executive director Victoria Cobb said the group plans to use the results to inform individual state lawmakers how their constituents feel about these issues."It's no different from any other poll," she said. "We want to find where Virginians stand."
The results will also help the foundation set its legislative agenda when state lawmakers convene in January, Cobb said.
Baloney, said Larry Sabato, a political scientist at the University of Virginia.
"They already know what they think. They know their agenda. That's absurd," he said. "Every one is a hot-button issue for social conservatives, every one. Those issues aren't getting that much attention at this point ... so this is a way to narrow down the people they absolutely want to vote on Nov. 7."
