Virginia is the home and corporate headquarters of the Christian Coalition, Christian Broadcasting Network, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell and the National Rifle Association.  Grover Norquist's Leadership Institute, where they train GOP robots, is right in the heart of Arlington.  The American Conservative Union is in Old Town Alexandria. The rest of the Commonwealth is made up of some of the most conservative rural area in America, which is the predominant target of the fear and hate mongering of the Republican Party.  The majority of people in Virginia are willing to name or rename just about anything after Ronald Reagan.

We do pretty well considering but we need all the help we can get. Please help.

i gave at the webb robinson h.s. rally, i gave at the webb old town rally, i gave a few months ago, i gave yesterday and i gave again today!

i'm so pleasantly surprised how fast money is coming in for him now.

i visit the webbforsenate.com page every morning to see where the donation total has gotten to and have been shocked at how fast and furious the money is pouring in and it needs to happen even faster.

i know at least 12-20 people that will be voting for webb -- and quite frankly, i dont even know very many people :)

Webb needs to get his message out statewide and soon. The strange thing is people I talk to have heard about Webb but they don't know him that well to form a good opinion of him. They know Webb from what they've heard from others about him. This can be good or bad.

Help the Webb team close the financial gap so that Jim Webb can define himself in his own terms to the voters.

After watching the course of events in the last few weeks our family came to the conclusion that this race is too important- we have to prevail. George Allen has to go. All hands on deck!

With that in mind we have decided to cancel some discretionary spending, raid the savings, and donate to Jim's campaign.  It is a significant sum, but it is for a good cause. We have a great candidate, and lord knows he's taking a beating (even though he would never admit it).

But it will take much more than a few people. Please join us by making whatever contribution you can. Any amount will help.  Add $0.01 to your contribution so that the campaign knows that bloggers are contributing.

Then call the campaign and volunteer.  Help to get the vote out because Virginia will need every voter to wrest George Allen from office.  There is a good reason why so many corporations and Lobbys send large contributions to George Allen - he is for sale to the highest bidder. Lets put the best candidate money can not buy in the U.S.Senate.

Make sure that your family knows when the election is. And where they should vote. It may not seem like a lot, but it helps.

Several relatives told me that they went to vote in the Primaries for Webb because they saw how much this meant for me.

Those relatives now find it urgent to vote out Allen.

that addresses pretty much every attack made by the Allen Camp.  It's called, Fighting Back for Jim Webb: An outline.  I think if you read it you can argue against any negative that someone who is on the fence might bring up.

I know we won't have a problem with base Democratic voters, its the moderates and independents that need to be won and a logical argument that is based on facts that are verifiable will win them over.  If you sound like a partisan attack dog they will automatically shut you out.  To go after moderates you must come at it with there point of view.
